Launch of the Belgian Cybercrime Centre of Excellence for Research, Training & Education
Brussels, May 27 2011. The Belgian Cybercrime Centre of Excellence for Training, Research and Education, in short b-ccentre, was officially inaugurated by Minister Stefaan De Clerck, Minister Annemie Turtelboom and Minister Vincent Van Quickenborne. The b-ccentre is established by K.U.Leuven, together with other academic institutions and partners from the public and private sector and will be a platform for the exchange of knowledge, expertise and training in the field of cybercrime. Within the b-ccentre the research groups DistriNet and COSIC will focus on cybercrime research and education from a technical point-of-view.
