Eddy Truyen

Eddy obtained a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from K.U.Leuven, Belgium in 2004. In 2004-2009, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science of K.U.Leuven and member of research group IBBT-DistriNet. In 2009 he obtained a permanent position at IMinds-DistriNet as Research expert in Middleware. He is currently member of the DistriNet taskforce on Language technology and Middleware which focusses on development and execution platforms for service-oriented applications.  His main research activities are in the area of adaptive middleware, dynamic reconfiguration and engineering of customizable software services. He has been involved in national and international projects on adaptive middleware and cloud computing. He has published more than 70 peer-reviewed papers, several of which in A-ranked conferences (ICSE, ICSM, Middleware, AOSD, ICWS, BPM).
