Micro Plug-and-Play is a hardware and software solution allowing for plug-and-play integration of IoT peripherals at near-zero cost. Micro Plug-and-Play is part of the LooCI toolkit and enables low-cost identification of IoT peripherals, automatic deployment and configuration of peripheral driver code, and seamless discovery and use of new peripherals throughout distributed IoT infrastructure.
We released a number of videos showing how LooCI is used in practice. We have built applications that tackle real-world problems in the context of smart building environments, but also applications that are running on robots!
We are proud to announce that version 2.0 of the LooCI middleware is now available. You can Download and install LooCI for systems including: OSGi, Android, Sun SPOT and Contiki, or alternatively jump right in with the quick-start virtual machine.
